Privacy Policy

Yeong Property Development (Pty) Ltd ("QSBridge") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The responsible party is Yeong Property Development (Pty) Ltd, Building 1, Prism Business Park, Ruby Close, Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa. What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and phone number.
• Project details you enter: area, floor size, finishes and similar.
• Documents you upload, such as floor plans and contractor quotations. These can contain names, addresses and prices, including information about the contractor or other people named in them.
• Payment status from our payment providers. We do not store your card details.
• Basic technical data such as IP address, used to prevent abuse and limit repeated requests.

Emails and link clicks

If you ask for a free cost range and agree to receive emails, we store your email address and your project details, and we send you your checklist and, from time to time, tips and offers about our services. When you click a button or link in our emails (for example, to tell us where you are in your build), we record which link you clicked and when, so we can send you information that fits. We do not track whether you opened an email. After your first email we may send up to three short follow-up emails over about two weeks. Every email has an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe we stop emailing you. We keep your email address and click records while you are subscribed, and delete them 12 months after you unsubscribe.

Optional questions after your cost range

After you see your cost range we may ask how the range feels, when you plan to build, what you have so far (plans or quotes) and, if you wish, your phone number. All of these are optional. The one-click answer about the range is kept without your name or email. The other answers are stored with your email and used to send you information that fits and to improve our cost ranges. We use your phone number only if you tick the box allowing us to contact you. We do not give your details to contractors, and we do not sell them.

Why we use it

To prepare your estimate or report, run your account, take payment, prevent abuse and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information.

Quote Checker documents

Your uploaded quotation or plans are used only to produce your report or plan check. It is deleted from our system after processing. The report itself is generated in your browser for you to download.

AI processing

To read documents we send their content to an AI service provider (Google Gemini). This is done only to produce your result. Results are produced automatically; they are not decisions about you and have no legal effect. If you want a person to look at a result, email us. Please do not upload documents with information that is not needed for the comparison, and upload only quotations and plans you are entitled to share (plans are usually the architect's work, so be sure you may share them).

Who else sees it

• Service providers who host our platform, store data, send email or process payments, under their own privacy terms.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some providers process or store data outside South Africa, for example in the United States or Europe. When you upload a document or give us your details you agree to this transfer, and we use providers that are bound to protect personal information.

How long we keep it

Uploaded quotations and plans are deleted after processing. For the free plan check we keep your email address and a few details read from the plans (floor area, number of bedrooms and bathrooms), not the plan files themselves. Account and project data are kept while your account is active and as long as needed for legal and accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your account.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, and we will notify you and the Information Regulator if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email tony@yeongpd.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
